Derrek Hallock was named President in 2020 in addition to holding the Chief Operating Officer role at Zones since 2017. In this role, Hallock leads the company's Partner and Product Management (PPM), Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain, along with Logistics, Integration, Technology Solution Centers, and Service Delivery divisions. In this role, he is responsible for driving innovation and collaboration across the company's partner ecosystem, increasing operational and supply chain efficiency, optimizing costs, elevating the Zones brand, and strengthening global service delivery for Zones clients, with an overarching mission of enabling industry-leading customer experiences and client satisfaction.
Hallock leverages broad industry experience gained at SED International, Tech Data, and CompuCom Systems, where he led a progression of sales management, strategic marketing, and global supply chain organizations. He graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Supply Chain Management and went on to earn his Executive Master of Business Administration from the University of Washington Foster School of Business.

Scott Foote
CISO, CPO/DPO, Cybersecurity Exec & Advisor
Bringing "order to chaos" drives every role Scott has played. First as an engineer, then product executive, then analyst, board member, and most recently as a CISO. Scott is an experienced cybersecurity executive, designing security and privacy into digital transformation initiatives for his clients. With more than 30 years of technology leadership experience in cybersecurity and the broader software industry, Scott has an acute ability to understand and map organizational needs to security models, architectures, solutions, and technologies. Ryan Bettencourt is the vice president of global sales at Verkada. In his role, Ryan oversees all global sales and distribution of Verkada products.
Ryan joined Verkada in early 2018 as a regional sales manager and the company’s third sales hire. He then progressed to director of sales before joining Verkada’s executive team overseeing global sales in 2019. During his time at Verkada, he has helped build the foundation for the sales team that now includes more than 600 team members and has acquired more than 11,000 enterprise customers.
Prior to Verkada, Ryan’s career started in copier sales at Pacific Office Automation, one of the leading resellers in the United States, where he spent almost nine years managing field sales for the company.
Ryan holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Willamette University.
Brandon Davito
Vice President of Product and Operations, Verkada
Brandon Davito is vice president of product and operations at Verkada where he oversees Product Management, Customer Support, and Deal Desk. After joining Verkada in 2018, Brandon has overseen the expansion of the product portfolio from four to 15 camera models and added four additional product lines - access control, environmental sensors, alarms, and visitor management.
Prior to Verkada, Brandon served as Chief Commercial Officer for runtime.io, an IoT device management and monitoring company. He was vice president and general manager of Smart Cities and Streetlights at Silver Spring Networks where he grew sales by 15 times to over $50M in revenue and landmark smart cities projects in Paris, Copenhagen, Singapore, Chicago, and Miami.
He spent more than four years at McKinsey & Company where he led high tech sales and marketing and energy technology client engagements for Fortune 500 companies. Brandon started his career as a product manager for BuildPoint Corporation, a start-up software company serving the construction industry.
Brandon earned his bachelor’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Stanford University and an MBA and Masters in Engineering Management from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Grayson Tonks
Sr Account Executive, Verkada
Grayson is an Account Executive at Verkada where he oversees the Eastern Canada sales territory. He joined Verkada in Jan of 2020, quickly becoming a top performing sales exec who was promoted to Team Lead, and then tasked to pioneer sales into Canada for Verkada.
Prior to Verkada, Grayson worked for Solarcity straight out of college, a company that would enable him to affect real change in the world and make the biggest impact in their marketplace. During his time there held Design and Engineering roles. Thereafter, Grayson moves into sales, taking a role at the largest privately owned tile and stone importer in the US, Emser Tile, which he held for over two years before joining Verkada
Grayson earned his bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from California State University, Chico.

He’s been working with corporate customers for the past 20 years helping them protect their companies and intellectual property from hackers and dishonest opportunists.
Brett began his cyber security career at McAfee, one of the two companies that combined to form Trellix. During his tenure at McAfee, he guided Commercial customers to address and solve security challenges they knew about, and those they didn’t. In addition to working closely with customers, he also engaged with McAfee’s channel partners, enabling them to provide security expertise to their mutual customers and helping them build organizations committed to the protection of companies across North America and Europe.

At Veritas, Dan’s day to day involves helping customers solve complex data problems from Ransomware to Cloud and everything in between. With 15 years of IT experience – spanning roles from Server Analyst, Storage Engineer and Solutions Engineer – he excels in troubleshooting server and network issues, as well as providing end user support that produces the best results, while promoting overall continuity of IT systems. Dan currently resides in New England and holds a bachelor's degree in computer sciences from the University of Connecticut.

Rachel was recognized by Morgan Stanley Wealth Management as part of the 2019 MAKERS Class, a program that honors women who serve as groundbreakers, innovators and advocates. She was also named one of the Top Women in WealthTech 2020 by ThinkAdvisor.
Prior to joining the Firm in 2017, Rachel spent 15 years at the National Security Agency (NSA), where she held several key senior executive-level leadership positions. As part of her tenure, Rachel spent nearly five years leading NSA’s cyber exploitation operations as the Deputy and then Chief of the Remote Operations Center within NSA’s Tailored Access Operations. In this capacity, she led the planning and execution of thousands of cyber exploitation operations against a wide array of foreign intelligence, military, and cyber targets, and served as the committing official for many of NSA’s highest risk and most important intelligence gathering activities.
